INTERESTS

As a native to the Jersey Shore, saltwater runs through my veins. I am happiest when the trunk of my car is filled with sand and my beach hair is "on point". My favorite moments are those spent on the beach with my closest friends; when we are still sitting there as the sun is setting, wishing that was just one more hour of daylight even though our skin is begging for mercy.
I have been an athlete my whole life and continue to stay active in college even though organized sports are no longer a part of my identity. I have been skiing since I was 6 years old and have more recently found a passion for hiking. It is easy to forget about the beauty of nature as we get older and I have found that hiking takes me back in time when outdoor activities were a part of my daily life. If only I had appreciated it when I was younger.
Not nearly the conclusion to who I am as a person, but another large portion of the puzzle that completes me is my infatuation with music. This stems back to way before I can remember, when apparently I used to correct my parents on the incorrect lyrics they were singing from my car seat. I feel an inexplicable gravitation toward music that, in my 22 years, I have not been able to find the words for. The right song can take my breath away, make me dance, make me cry, inspire me, motivate me, move me... you get the point. A wise man once said, "If you do what you love, you'll never work a day in your life". Well, here I am, pursuing a career in the industry I love, with the hope that I will never have to work.
